St. Thomas More (1477/1478-1535), a lawyer, writer, scholar, statesman, diplomat, political theorist and patron of the arts invented the Utopian alphabet during the 16th century.
This alphabet appears in his book Utopia (1515-1516), which
was written in Latin and was published in 1516. The name Utopia is a pun
meaning both the "good place" and "no place". The book is
narrated by a traveller called
The Utopian Alphabet contains only twenty two (22) letters.
Missing letters : j, u, w, z. Letter i can be used for j, letter v for u/w and letter s for z.
